If you want to have all the excitement of the stage to brighten your weekend on a regular basis, you’re going to have to get savvy about how and where you shop for tickets. Here are some insider tips for the cheapest possible tickets that will satisfy both your artistic mind and your wallet.
There are three of these around New City, two in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn. Show up the day before for a chance at dramatically discounted matinee tickets, or same day tickets right in Times Square.
Standing Room Only and Rush Tickets
You can typically find these cheap, last minute tickets on the day-of at the box office itself for around $35 — a real steal. Some go by lottery, however, so be aware that you might need to try your luck a few times.
